PTA Board Members

The PTA is a group of parents and staff, all interested in helping make Reedy Creek Elementary the best school for its students. Some of the ways we can work towards this goal is by volunteering to perform tasks at the school, providing Cultural Arts experiences for the students, and recognizing our great teaching staff. In addition, we are able to support "Special Projects" within the school through our annual fundraising. Please help support our efforts by joining the Reedy Creek Elementary PTA, by volunteering to help and by supporting our fundraising plans.

1) Sept. 11-28th: Citipass coupon books- $20. Each student will be sent
home with a book & order form. If you do not wish to participate, please
just send the book/packet back to school in original condition
immediately. We are held responsible for these books.

2) Oct. 16-Nov. 2nd- Selling from "THE CHIP SHOPPE" brochures (cookies,
pizza, cheesecakes,etc). See www.thechipshoppe.com. Items will be
delivered in early December.

3) "Art By Me" fundraiser- students will produce a work of art during
art class. This artwork will be sent home in October. Parents can choose
to get the artwork reprinted on various items such as magnets, t-shirts, pillows.
These make great holiday gifts for relatives.

If you choose not to participate in any of these fundraisers, donations are always welcome!
Checks payable to: RCES PTA & can be sent to school in student back packs or dropped off in the front office.

Educational Funding Alliance: Now at no expense to you, you can help financially support Reedy Creek Elementary School by working with approved businesses in your Community .
Every month, you buy products and services from businesses such as plumbers, electricians, lawyers, lawn care companies and others. By working with any of the approved businesses in your school’s directory, you also help in providing donations to the school. All of these businesses have agreed to donate a portion of your purchase price to the school.
What To Do To Help:
1. Visit http://www.efundingalliance.com
2. Click on the “Parents” button.
3. Select Reedy Creek Elementary from the list of schools.
4. Choose the category and business that meets your need. At the time of purchase tell them you want a donation made to Reedy Creek. They do the rest.

If there is a business that you would like to see added to the list such plumber, travel agents, etc.

TARGET: "Take Charge of Education School Fundraising Program" - Every time you use your Target Visa or Target Guest Card at a Target store or target.com, Target will donate up to 1% of your purchases to Reedy Creek Elementary (School ID No. 113465). Sign up online at www.target.com or at a Target customer service desk. Get your out of town family to sign up too!

Food Lion Shop and Share Program: Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to Reedy Creek Elementary. Register your MVP card at www.foodlion.com or call 704-633-8250 X3810 or stop by the customer service desk.

Harris Teeter's Together in Educaton: When you purchase select Harris Teeter Private Label Products using your VIC Card, Harris Teeter will give cash back to Reedy Creek. Special shelf tags identify eligible products. Just link your VIC card by stopping by the customer service desk or go online at www.harristeeter.com. Our TIE school code is 3592. Your VIC card can be programmed with the code so that you will not have to remember it from visit to visit.

Kroger Plus Card for Education Program: Every time you use your Kroger Plus card you can earn credit for Reedy Creek for educational equipment. Just stop by the customer service desk and link your Kroger Plus card using the bar code number 10000080164. For more information go to www.shoppercredit.com/kroger.

Office Depot's "5% Back to Schools" Program: Each time teachers, staff, students, and families shop at Office Depot, Reedy Creek can earn credits for free supplies. Our school ID# is: 70060525. For more information go to www.OfficeDepot.com under School Quick Shop or call 1-800-463-3768.

General Mills Box Tops for Education: Collect official Box Tops coupons on General Mills cereals, many Pillsbury refrigerated and frozen products, Betty Crocker snack and baking products, Old El Paso products and more. Visit www.boxtops4education.com for the complete list. Bring your Box Tops to the school and place them in the collection box located outside the Media Center. Each coupon you save earns 10 cents for our school.
