You must register each year to be a volunteer. Register on any computer in our school.
Sign in at the office and meet the class outside the cafeteria at your scheduled lunch time.
Help your group of students through the lunch line.
Take your group to the tables in the front lobby, in the courtyard outside the cafeteria or in the back hallway.
The teacher can supply a basket of books to read or you may select your own from our media center or from home. The children love non-fiction topics!
The children will enjoy their lunch as you read to them.
Begin clean-up 3 minutes before the end of our lunchtime. Meet the class outside the cafeteria.
NEVER leave students unattended in the school. Dial the office from any phone in the school- *211.
Sign-out in the office.
You will make a HUGE impact on the reading lives of our students at Reedy Creek!
You may come in weekly, every other week, monthly or whenever your schedule allows. Your children will love it. If our lunch time does not work for you, we can work out another time for you to come in to read with a small group of children.
